... an OC question thingie from my friend Tasha A.K.A. nakatsuki. There characters are from my story-in-progress, Never and NowHere. Tash, I blame you.

1. What is your OC's name?
Binx Bones
Jazz Wolfgang


2.Any nicknames?
Binx - Binxy (by Jazz)
Jazz - Big Bad (by everyone)


3.What is their age?
Binx – looks roughly early to mid-twenties though she’s lost track of actual age over the years (is immortal)
Jazz – looks late twenties, maybe even thirty


4.Date of birth?
That information is highly classified and not to mention restricted. Not even the FBI or the CIA could probably get the actual date of birth of these two. Believe me – many espionage operations have failed miserably in the process.


5. Does he/she believe in magic?
... This is a very large DUH for both - Jazz is a werewolf like creature and Binx is a fortune teller; both live in a city that transforms into a nightmarish fantasy land when the sun goes down. So that’s a yes. Big, capitalized YES.


6. What is their outlook on life?
Binx – That for the most part it’s not easy and nothing is black and white.
Jazz – It sucks, very simply put.


7. What is your favourite quote of your OC?
Jazz - "They're going nuts tonight just like they do every year. Crazy bastards. Stupid bastards. The whole lot of them are outta their underused minds. Sweet Mother..."
Binx, however, is mute, so the closest I’ve got a favourite quote is one of the ‘Yeah-right-you’re-going-to-do-what-I-say-anyway’ looks she gives to Big Bad when he makes a fuss over something she wants him to help her with.


8.Does he/she look up to anyone?
Both sort of look up to each other, in a weirdly twisted way. Jazz would never admit to it of course, and really the only reason Binx has a high opinion of him is because everyone else she could have looked up to have let her down.


9. Is he/she running from something?
Binx – tries to forget about and run away from her past for good
Jazz – constantly tries to ignore his fears and his problems, to the extent he panics when confronted by them


10.Would your OC help someone they didn't know?
Binx – yes; she does so on a daily basis
Jazz – never; unless you count when he’s forced to by Binx, in which case he does quite often, more than he would like


11.Has he/she ever been in love? Are they in love now?
Binx – yes, a very, very long time ago; whether she is now is still up for debate.
Jazz – no


12.What does your OC do in their spare time?
Binx – take long walks about the Otherworld, read the fortunes of people that pass her by, and visit the club Black Velvet that belongs to a fairy friend
Jazz – smoke like a chimney and further stress his position of authority by threatening people


13. Does he/she have any habits, weird or otherwise?
Jazz – constantly chews on flavoured toothpicks


14. What would your OC's first response be if someone randomly called them an asshole?
Binx – *unimpressed, silent eyebrow raise of ‘And-you’re-a-moron’ proportions*
Jazz – could probably range anywhere from “No shit Sherlock” to “Bite me”


15.What does your OC usually dream about?
Binx – a very bad time that occurred in her past
Jazz – that’s a mystery


16. How would your OC treat/ act around someone they were in love with?
Jazz – would deny it till the cows come home then turn around and act overly protective of said person; he’s the type of guy who’s oblivious to his own real feelings while everybody else just kind of points it out in exasperation.
Binx – would be very open and honest with them instead of hiding what she’s feeling; Binx is fairly sensitive and emotional so while she wouldn’t throw herself at someone and cling there would be some obvious displays of affection to let the person know she loves them.


17. Is your OC scared of anything?
Jazz – Binx when she’s truly angry/upset, losing control of his territory, death
Binx – letting/seeing children get hurt, being let down by those close to her


18. What is their height?
Binx – 5’7
Jazz – 6’3


19. If they're a virgin, do they plan on giving it up sooooon?
Binx – definitely not a virgin
Jazz – ditto


20. How does your OC respond to praise?
Binx – with a humble, pleased smile of thanks
Jazz – by gloating and dismissing it (and then getting whacked in the head by Binx, after which he’ll grumble a thank you)


21. Which emoticons describe your OC the best?
Binx – wistfulness
Jazz – anger


22. Name ONE OC (You’re own or another person’s) that you think would make a good couple with your OC, and list a reason why.
Well, I don't know many OC's of other people who would tolerate these two, much less couple up with them, so I'll stick with Tasha's "Jasper having a crush on Binx theory" and throw out one of my own characters, Gina De Luca, as a possibility for Jazz. They come from different stories and Gina probably wouldn't have any interaction with the supernatural being an assassin but Jazz is similar to a man she's attempting to force to marry her so it's possible I guess.


23. What song best describes your OC's life/personality?
Binx – either Jakalope’s “Come On” from the It Dreams album or “God Help The Outcasts”, a song I listened to on repeat while writing her from the Disney Hunchback of Notre Dame soundtrack for her personality and “Wake Me Up When September Ends” by Green Day for her life.
Jazz – “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Green Day describes his personality fairly well, while “This Moment” is a good theme for his overall life story (which is currently classified spoiler material, thank you very much).
The song “Monsters” by Matchbook Romance could probably be used for both of them.


24. Does your OC have any emotional/psychological problems?
That’s debatable. Binx is highly susceptible to nervous breakdowns to the events of her past while Jazz can be somewhat sociopathic at times.


25. Is your OC depressed...OR EVEN SUICIDAL???
Last I checked, no. Binx can get depressed but not to the extent she has ever considered killing herself. Jazz is one of those guys who thinks killing yourself is just a waste of perfectly good killing intent; why kill yourself when you could kill someone else?


26. What is your OC living for?
Binx – lives for the sake of living, and helping others navigate themselves through the Otherworld
Jazz – for the opportunity to get all that he wants (power, people, etc.)


27. If your OC were in love with someone, how would they handle it?
Binx would handle it pretty well I think. Big Bad, on the other hand, might very well have a mental breakdown once you got him out of his denial phase.
